Hostile Environments can create justifiable Health & Safety concerns for Health Authorities and their Practitioners when providing "out-call" services to their constituency. Furthermore, Management is often challenged by the necessity of providing a mechanism to track and monitor their field employee's safety in real-time.
TeleSafety combines a comprehensive suite of Hosted Telephone Functionality (IVR), e-mail alerts, phone alerts and web reporting to enhance the levels of safety in "out-call" health care environments.
By providing a continuous channel for monitoring, tracking, and communications between field practitioners and internal employees TeleSafety provides Health Authorities with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to any situation where there could be potential risk.
Employee Check-in and Check-out
For the field employee, interacting with TeleSafety is simple. Utilizing any telephone, the employee logs in to register their departure to a particular visitation using the telephone keypad to respond to a very brief sequence of voice prompts. No direct contact with personnel at the office is required. Similarly, the user logs out to confirm they are leaving that site. The application holds the details of the employee' visit type, location, risk level, travel time and contact telephone number.
Open Communications
Management can deliver individual and/or group messages to all field employees - available to employees any time they call in to log in or out.
Real-Time Alarms and Escalation
Failure of an employee to make further calls within the specified time period after the schedule completion results in an automatic escalation procedure being activated, which consists of e-mails generated to managers and/or calls to employees. TeleSafety offers a wide spectrum of configuration possibilities. A full audit of users, locations, call details and alarms is held within the application and is available for later inspection and analysis.
Supervision and Management Reporting
Management and safety coordinators can access reporting, administrative utilities 24/7 over the internet and the telephone, thus providing Management with instant access to key information from any location.
