Step 1: Your dedicated toll-free # is printed on your customer bill/statements; or you can point your in-house IVR to the telephone payment gateway, for customers who want to pay their bill when calling your company.
Step 2: The customer places a call to the provided toll-free telephone number printed on the invoice. Customer is prompted to provide an Invoice/Account number, account information is retrieved in real- time (if integration module is implemented), customer is promoted to enter credit card information. Information is transmitted securely to the credit card processor; a real-time authorization is read back to the customer.
Step 3: Invoice/Account payment status is updated to your back-office systems.
